2022 Honda Civic Type R | Full Custom Audio System
This latest project features a brand-new 2022 Honda Civic Type R, built with one objective in mind: maximum output with a clean, factory-inspired presentation.
The customer supplied two 10-inch Orion HCCA subwoofers, and we designed a custom ported bass enclosure specifically for the Type R hatch. The enclosure is tuned to 35Hz, delivering hard-hitting low end while maintaining efficiency and musical response.
To elevate the build beyond a standard subwoofer install, the enclosure was constructed with acrylic bracing and integrated LED lighting, allowing the customer to visually experience the internal structure of the box while showcasing the Orion HCCA subwoofers in action.

To display the amplification properly, we fabricated a custom amplifier enclosure mounted behind the rear seats. When the seats are folded down, the entire system becomes visible — blending show-level presentation with everyday usability.
The entire rear setup was wrapped in red, carefully matched to the factory Type R interior, creating a cohesive OEM-plus aesthetic. The result is a system that looks intentional, aggressive, and factory-inspired — while delivering serious output.
This build came together clean, organized, and extremely loud, proving that high-performance audio can coexist with a modern performance platform when executed correctly.
