Mounting & trim ring

Resilient Sounds recommends hex-head mounting screws without a flared head to help prevent cracking the trim ring. The screw photo in the gallery shows the recommended head style. The trim ring should only be removed for reconing; removal may void the manufacturer warranty. Hand-tighten trim-ring screws when reinstalling.
