2014 BMW M4 | Hardline Trunk Setup & Full Custom Build
This latest project features a 2014 BMW M4 that is nothing short of exceptional. From performance to aesthetics, every inch of this car has been touched — making it a true one-of-one build.
The customer came in looking for a clean, simple hardline trunk setup to complement the rest of the car without overpowering it. The goal wasn’t flash — it was precision, balance, and execution.
For the air system, we installed a 3-gallon seamless air tank, powder-coated in yellow to tie into the vehicle’s accent color theme. The tank straps were powder-coated gloss black, keeping the layout sharp and understated. We fabricated custom hardlines, finished in gloss black, and assembled the entire system using stainless steel compression fittings for durability and a refined look.
The result is a minimalist hardline setup — clean, functional, and intentional.
To finish the trunk, we wrapped the entire area in black suede, adding a layer of sport-luxury that complements the M4’s aggressive nature while maintaining a premium feel.
Alongside the air setup, the customer also upgraded the audio system with a Morel speaker package, paired with a MatchUp 10 DSP, significantly improving sound clarity, balance, and overall listening experience. The outcome delivered exactly what was intended — clean, powerful sound without compromising the build’s focus.
And then there’s the car itself.
This BMW M4 features a fully custom widebody that you simply won’t see anywhere else. No off-the-shelf kit. No duplicates. From the carbon fiber hood, lip, side skirts, and rear diffuser, to the big wing, aggressive wheels, and flush fitment, the exterior presence is undeniable.
